Mona loved the meetings at Phoenix Foundation. Mainly because of the secret glances she exchanged with MacGyver. They'd been flirting more often in recent times and she couldn't deny the chemistry between them. He was smart, handsome, considerate, and really incredible with his improvisation skills during missions.

"Looks like they're finally starting to trust me," she commented quietly to him as they stepped out of the room. "Sending me out on the field more often, letting me work with my favorite person." She nudged his arm playfully.

Bravery: Sometimes she will go into risky situations without hesitation, if she thinks it'll help in her mission. This has gotten her into near-death situations quite a few times. This can also come across as being forward and crass at times, as she's so focused on the end goal that she doesn't always think rationally.

When the disappearance of her brother Shane was first discovered, Desdemona lashed out in worry. She felt a mix of worry, sadness and fear for the worst as she knew what trouble he might've gotten himself into. She immediately took it upon herself to go out and find him, against the wishes of her family. She didn't really care about what happens to her, when the one person who meant the most to her was possibly in danger.

She ventured into the shady parts of town and followed some of Brook's men. Hour after hour Desdemona became more anxious and worried, but she couldn't give up. She simply couldn't walk away from her brother.

"How can I just sit around and wait for the police to do something?" she would snap at anyone who'd tell her to trust in the law and keep herself out of the same danger Shane possibly was in. "He's my brother, the one who guided me when I needed it. The shoulder I'd cry on when I first had my heart broken. He always knows how to put a smile on my face. And he always tells me he'll protect me always, no matter what. Now it's my turn to protect him. I'm not leaving him out there!"

No matter how many bad guys she'll pin to a wall by the collars or hold at gunpoint, the answer just won't come to her. Brook clearly doesn't want her finding Shane. Does he even have him in the first place? Desdemona is almost obsessed with the idea that Shane is somewhere in Brook's lair, waiting to be rescued. Like she can't even consider any other options. Her stubborness is keeping her from any other truth, keeping her from seeking out the definite answer.

Personality: Desdemona is so much more than her good looks and seductive mannerism. She can be a caring and righteous person but also quite fierce and unforgiving, if you happen to get on her bad side. She will not take kindly to anyone threatening or mocking those she loves, and will quickly relent.

On her more positive side, Desdemona has worked hard to become someone people can rely on. She is always willing to help out without wanting much in return. Many would say she inherited those traits from her mother Sylvia.

To some she might come across as cold or distant, but deep down she is a woman who wants to experience something good in the middle of all the bad in her life. She can be a hopeless romantic, especially if she really likes someone. Her soft, loving side will come out once she has developed a genuine connection and trust with the other person. There might be caution from her side at times.

She also makes for an eager, irreplaceable and no-nonsense partner out on the field. Something her friend (and love interest) Hobbs knows very well. For example, they were hired to rescue a witness named Michael who worked at a strip club. They got him out after fighting off a few men determined to capture Michael and make sure he'll never make it to the witness stand.

Desdemona distracted the men while Hobbs used his strength to knock them down. It's something she'll do often, before joining the fight herself. She loves the adrenaline rush of a good fight.

Positive traits:

Wits: She is clever and able to adapt in all kinds of situations. She's also good at disguises. Desdemona has used close to a 100 different identities during her missions. She's also skilled at tracking down criminals and other shady characters.

Desdemona has extensive knowledge in driving and fixing vehicles as well. Something she learned at an old friends' garage.

Negative traits:

Vengefulness: The moment she heard about her brother's disappearance, she immediately went after those she believed to be linked to it, not afraid to use illegal methods if it comes to it. In some occasions she will infiltrate into her arch enemy's gang to gain additional information and sabotage their operations.

Mona was on her way to go and look for the criminal she suspected to be behind her brother Shane's disappearance. Demolition Speeder had offered to go with her for back-up, but she insisted on flying solo this time. It took a lot of convincing on her part that she would be able to defeat the enemy easily, if it would come to that. Her family was the most important thing to her and she'd go through thick and thin to protect them. Even if it meant going into a potentially dangerous situation by herself.

"You know where I am, if you change your mind," Speeder offered. "Promise me you'll be careful. I don't want you getting yourself killed over some petty criminal."

Mona placed a reassuring hand on her friend's and trusted partner's shoulder, giving a gentle squeeze. It wouldn't be her first time travelling into the wolf's cave, so to speak.

"I will be fine. If you'll excuse me, I have a brother to save." With that said, Mona grabbed her trusted guns and hurried out the door and into the cool New York City night.

She finally arrived at a run down warehouse, located a few miles north. The unpleasant, familiar voice coming from inside indicated that this was the place. However, there were no signs of Shane. Mona peeked in through the window and all she saw was Howard Brook and two of his many henchmen talking about god knows what.

"Where have you taken him, you jerk..." Mona murmured quietly. Her heart sank at the thought of her brother in danger because of these people, and not being able to find out his actual location. She was so sure this hideout could be it. "These people are smarter than I expected."

Instead of giving up and leaving, Mona decided to sneak in and maybe catch one of Brook's men for some interrogation. Her brave side wouldn't allow her anything less.

Appearance: Physically, Desdemona is in pretty good shape. She is average-height with light skin. Blonde hair and blue eyes.

History: Raised in a middle-class neighbourhood with two loving parents. They divorced, however, when Desdemona was 13 years old. She has two brothers Thomas and Shane. The latter disappeared mysteriously after getting involved with some shady characters.

Her mother raised the three children by herself after the divorce. Things weren't always easy but Desdemona and her brothers helped the best they could. These difficult times attributed to her personality later on in life, giving her the motivation to become strong and driven. Her relationship with her father Gregory remained amicable until his passing.

She spent most of her teenage years and early 20s learning martial arts, picking up gunmanship in her early 20s as well. Working odd jobs here and there, Desdemona began building contacts all over town and gathering valuable information on her mission to find her brother. During this time she became acquainted with a former federal agent named Hobbs who would help her on many occasions, providing her with equipment and combat assistance.

Around that time she also teamed up with a motorcyclist calling himself Demolition Speeder and Shadow, who has the power of teleportation. They faced against all kinds of evil and the trio still works together to this day.

Arsenal: Desdemona carries two Desert Eagle handguns. She has a black and a silver pair. She also carries a pair of small daggers, which she normally uses as a 'warning shot' to her enemies.
